Christmas is a time of year which brings together friends and family to spend time together and enjoy our favourite traditions and activities. These vary between families depending on their beliefs or local culture, but all are intended to help people get into the Christmas spirit.
Christmas is celebrated in many different ways all over the world, often varying considerably between different countries. Originally a Christian festival to celebrate the birth of Jesus, Christmas has continued growing over the last century.
This month sees two of the popular BBC Good Food Shows being held in England, with a London show being held at Olympia between the 14th and 16th of November and a special winter show at the NEC in Birmingham between the 27th and 30th of the month.
